The Bank CEO Network is a membership organization that assists community bank CEOs in their effort to gain information and insights that will help them better understand, adjust, and make informed decisions regarding current and potential opportunities as well as threats.

Network member banks engage in an open exchange of information and ideas in a noncompetitive, friendly environment. Our organization is a cost-effective, no-nonsense, communication network that provides members unvarnished insight from a diverse array of discussion moderators who are free of self-promoting spin and salesmanship.

The Bank CEO Network meetings are in small-group style during the first two weeks of May and October. Members meet in two-day sessions at resorts or business hotels throughout the continental United States.


Members are grouped with other CEOs from similar-sized banks, assuring that discussions are relevant. Discussion modules are results-oriented so that CEOs take away specific ideas and action plans for improving efficiency, financial performance, and employee productivity. Experienced moderators endeavor to keep discussions focused, yet sufficiently flexible to explore successful initiatives undertaken by individual member banks.

In addition to biannual meetings, The Bank CEO Network promotes continuing education by providing:

 

  • An annual Bank Profit Improvement Survey that identifies opportunities for increased revenue and reduced expenses through comparison of detail financial results with peers. One discussion module each spring is focused entirely on analysis of the results obtained through this proprietary analytical report

  • Optional events for member bank's broader team, including an Annual Forum for officers, Directors' Conference for outside directors, and Commercial Loan Pricing Seminar for loan officers.

  • Occasional webinars to address current trends, industry concerns, and new opportunities in community banking.

  • The Bank CEO Network is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) to provide CPA Continuing Professional Education credits to our members (learn more at the link below).
